A Donegal pub has won one of Ireland’s most prestigious ‘Best Pubs’ competitions after being named Pub of the Year by the Sunday World.
Rosato’s in Moville, which is run by the Harkin family, received great praise by the hilarious secret Pub Spy columnist.
Pub Spy called the well-known drinking hole ‘spotless and authentic.’
“What a find. What a pub. What an atmosphere,” ranted the normally hard to impress secret Pub Spy.
The Inishowen bar, which sells a pint of Guinness at a bargain €3.60, also serves bar food and had a splendid beer garden out the back.
The bar beat off competition from other bars around the country including Johnny Dunne’s in Kildare and McHugh’s in Sligo.
Donegaldaily.com will just have to go and see what all the fuss is about!
