GARDAI and the county council are warning of difficult conditions on some roads in the county this morning after temperatures dropped to -4C in places overnight.
The icy conditions came after freezing temperatures turned many roads left wet by yesterday’s snow and rain into ice.
Forecasters are again divided over what sort of weather we will have in coming days in Donegal.
All channels are forecasting a mixture of rain, sleet and snow – but they all appear to agree that Wednesday will be a fine sunny day.
But Thursday – St Patrick’s Day – promises to be very cold and very wet….though no-one has dared to mention SNOW yet…..
