Marriages, engagements and even a retirement have been put on hold until the hugely-awaited St.Eunan’s Strictly Come Dancing Extravaganza kicks off.
This year the staff in conjunction with Parents’ Association of the Letterkenny college have pulled out all the stops for the event on the 2nd April in the Mount Errigal Hotel at 7.30 pm.
And with a huge amount of advance ticket enquiries, people are being encouraged to snap up their golden tickets with a huge crowd of more than 750 expected.
As well as a major fundraising event for the college, this is a great night of fun and laughter with some serious competition thrown in.
As this is the college’s main fundraising event for this year – all funds raised will go directly to support the educational activities of St.Eunan’s.
All 22 dancers have been practicing for months under the direction of Michelle Pearson. The standard is extremely high and the competition between the competitors nail biting.
Couples are even arranging their own additional practice sessions with weekends!
These strictly come dancing nights are very popular but ours will be different- staff of the College as you’ve never seem them before.
Style, grace, elegance wit and charm- and that’s just the Judges, according to school principal Chris Darby.
Tickets are available from the College and go on sale on Thursday and Friday this week, 24th and 25th March at €15.
The college say they are very grateful to our main sponsors, Trio Foods Ltd., County Seat, Value Centre, Compupac IT Solutions and McGinley, Doherty & Deery, Architects and would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their generosity.
The college also want to thank all the other local suppliers and business who have been also very kind in supporting this project.
