Annual Summer Barbecue & €10,000 Lotto Jackpot Draw
The club’s annual summer barbecue will take place this Saturday, August 13th at the Scarvey. Admission is €5 and there will be food (lamb-on-a-spit, burgers, etc…) and refreshments for sale. There will also be live music from Mickey & Charlie. The barbecue organisers have also hired a bigger marquee than last year so that any possible rain will not spoil the event. Admission is strictly restricted to over 18s.
The club’s weekly lotto will also take place at the barbecue, If the jackpot prize of €10,000 is not won then there will be a draw immediately afterwards for anyone who bought lotto tickets. €10,000 must go. The prizes for the draw will consist of one prize of €5,000 and five prizes of €1,000. One of the €1,000 prizes will be confined to club members only. Committee decisions relating to the draw will be final.
This year’s event promises to be a great night as was last years. Up to ten people in particular will have an extra reason to enjoy the event. It’s important for club members to sell as many lottos this week as possible in order to make the draw a success. Please print and use the attached poster to highlight the event. John Porter also has A3 copies of the attached for anyone who wants one to put up in a public place.
