DONEGAL Town Farmers Market has been saved – after getting a new home!
The market has been forced to leave the Diamond after objections from at least one local business who claimed some stalls were breaching trading laws.
Now the market holders will re-launch their popular event this Saturday at its new home in the car park behind Begley’s Chemist.
Market founder Jim McLaughlin said: “We are sad to be leaving the Diamond but we are also delighted to have our new home which we know will be very popular.
“We are looking forward to seeing all our regular customers again – as well as a few new ones.”
* Get out and support the market – it opens at 10am this Saturday.Tags:
