Fourth Sunday of Lent
PRAYING FOR OUR DEAD
At the beginning of May we will be putting on display a book which will contain the names of our beloved dead. Each person will be recorded on the day that his or her actual anniversary occurs.
If you would like to have a friend or family member(s) recorded, please have the name(s), anniversary date(s) written clearly. It does not matter where the person lived or died as long as you would like that person to be recorded. There is no charge for this. Please forward the name(s) you would like recorded as soon as possible.
REMEMBERING ALL MOTHERS
Loving God,
as a mother gives life and nourishment to her children, so you watch over your Church.
Bless these women, that they may be strengthened as Christian mothers.
Let the example of their faith and love shine forth.
Grant that we, their sons and daughters,
may honour them always
with a spirit of profound respect.
Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Eternal rest grant unto all mothers O Lord and let perpetual light upon them, may they rest in peace. Amen.
