Well done to all the Termon players involved with the Donegal U14 and Minor teams who both defeated Armagh in Killeavy last week. Termon also had the unique distinction of supplying the captains to both sides. Lauren McElwaine captaining the U14s and Emer Gallagher captaining the minors. Good luck to both teams this weekend.
Senior Men:
Our men had a busy weekend beginning with a journey to Burt on Saturday evening. A late goal from Joe English proved the difference between the sides in a low scoring affair. Kevin McElwaine and Shaun McDaid were best for Termon. On Sunday we hosted Downing’s in the quarter final of the Gaeltacht competition. This time it was Pauric Hilferty who scored the all important goal with Termon winning 1-8 to 0-8. Shaun O Donnell and Jamie Gallagher were best for Termon.
The reserves suffered an away defeat on Saturday evening to Burt.
This weekend both teams host St Nauls on Friday evening followed by an away fixture in Muff this Sunday. All support would be appreciated.
Lotto:
The Lotto draw took place in place in the Glenveagh Inn on Friday last. The numbers were 4,8,16 and 28. Conor Ferguson matched 3 numbers and won €80. Open draw winners were Hugo McDaid and John Wilhare who both won €10 each. Next week’s draw takes place in Lagoon. Kath McSharry and Joe McDaid are the coordinators. The jackpot is now €2200.
Burn Road Timetable
All managers are to take note of the calendar for the use of the Burn Road now in place at the Dressing Rooms. Any additional trainings and games times are to be cleared with Martin Friel. This is to ensure the pitch isn’t double booked in the busy weeks and months ahead.
