MET Eireann has issued another weather warning for Co Donegal – forecasting torrential rain for most of Thursday.
The national forecaster says persistent and heavy rain could lead to localised flooding in some areas.
There is some good news however from Met Eireann; Donegal will escape the worst of the damp weather over the weekend – that honour falls to the south and east of the country.
And they also say there are “tentative” signs that the cold spell may be coming to an end with “with warmer and drier conditions signalled.”
