Well donegal daily I went down to vote unsure of whether i would say yes or no. The no vote won me out in the end. I think they should have held out longer to see what happens in europe! How can you have a good government in this country when it’s family relations as candidates for local places!! nepotism or what!!!!
Donegal the only true Irish county left in Ireland, the rest of you shame on you. You deserted your country to benifit YOUR pocket. What a nasty little people you have become.
Ireland can now move forward after the people of Ireland voted Yes to the treaty.
Donegal will once again be left behind but the people have no one to blame but themselves.
Yes to Europe and Yes to recovery.
Without Europe Ireland would be doomed.
Well said jose
Enda Kenny will crawl back to Europe a happy man. At least he won’t have to cower in front of Angela. He can hide behind her skirts once again. Joan Burton announced last week that Enda loves to meet the people. Probably true as long as he gets to dicate who he meets. How else can you describe his ‘sneaking’ around Donegal 2 weeks ago. He is afraid of debate on the national airwaves. A fine leader we have.
Isn’t Ireland a lucky country to have such a fine man leading it.
The majority said Yes. Like it or not that is called Democracy – the will of the people. For the bad losers in the No camp obviously they fancy the alternative – North Korea, for example.
Sean are you saying you voted yes to the fiscal treaty because of north korea. Well thats a new slant of the yes vote. Did enda tell you that
At least Donegal can stand proud and say they dont believe aword what the snake Kenny has to say. The country should have voted no and got rid of Kenny. Thw man is useless and follows what the Germans tell us to. The Irish people are fools too dont thet read the papers and realise austerity on its own doesnt work.I emigrated in 1987 and came back in 2001(big mistake) wish I could pack my bags never to return.Lucky are the young who can pack their bags and go…oh to be in their shoes. This country is banjaxed for at least 20 years. Our bankers and politicians are so out of touch its unreal. Met a banker the other day with a client and the client was told that he had to repay the debt over the next 20 years. Cloud cuckoo land or what.
