St. Eunans retained the James Gallagher Cup today in very wet and windy conditions at O’Donnell Park.
They came through the group stages at the expense of Ardara and a very determined Buncrana side.
In the other group, Fanad Gaels emerged victorous as they saw off the MacCumhaills and Robert Emmets challenge.
The final was of a very high standard and the lead changed hands on a couple of occasions in the first half. St. Eunans started the second half leading by a single point but with the aid of the elements, they pulled away to win the game fairly comfortably in the end.
The clubs would like to thank Brian McCormick for sponsorship of the medals and to all who helped out on the day.
