The U-12 girls travelled to Buncrana last Saturday and did very well, winning most of their games. They make the short trip to the Glebe this week for their Blitz.
The U-12 Boys retained the James Gallagher Memorial Cup on Saturday on a damp day. They defeated Ardara before just overcoming Buncrana to book their place in the Final against Fanad Gaels who had defeated Robert Emmett’s and MacCumhaills in their group. In an evenly contested first half, the Eunan’s lads took the narrowest of leads into the second half and with the wind in their favour in the second period they managed to build a lead and retain the trophy in it’s second year. Thanks to all the travelling teams for their participation and sportsmanship and to the parents who put on a great spread of food and of course the Referee’s, Mickey Mulhern, Eamon O’Boyle and Colm Flood.
The U-12 Boys continued their good form in the U-12 Go Games with a good win over the Gaels on Monday evening, they travel to neighbours Glenswilly next Monday. The U-11 team lost narrowly to MacCumhaills in their game and they are also on their travels next week against Buncrana.
