A bit rich coming from a Senator who voted to raise VAT, introduced the USC and income levies and the other cuts introduced by Fianna Fail. What kind of effect did that have on business?
Well done Senator for raising this issue. As an employer of 10 people in Letterkenny i can confirm that if the Gov move to implement this – then it will be the very last straw. My business is already under serious pressure..
I understand Brian but my point is that all these cuts and extra taxes that Fianna Fail and now FG/Lab are now implementing have had an affect on demand and spending power in the local economy.

maybe an effect but no direct cost. USC and income levies are paid directly my the employee, not the employer!!!!

Ó Domhnaill again yawn! this is why the senate has to be abolished nothing more than a rest home for politicians who failed to be elected
