Is the purpose of an inquest supposed to be to establish the cause of death ? Is it also suposed to apportion blame ? If it is supposed to apportion blame then does it have the powers to do anything ? are the duties of an inquest different in the two legislations ? any legal eagles out there ?
scandal. pure and simple. an inquest is to discover all the truth. if by doing so blame can be apportioned then so be it.
