At first glance it looks like a team getting ready to play 70 minutes of football to claim the All-Ireland football title.

All are singing off the same hymn sheet and all togged out exactly the same – or are they?

A number of Donegal Daily readers have contacted the site asking us why Karl Lacey is wearing different shorts than the rest of the team.

The answer is we don’t know.

Perhaps it was just a mistake or was it another of Jim McGuinness’ tactical plans?

Anybody who has any inside information on the secret of the shorts can let us know!
