The senior and reserve teams were at different ends of four point winning margins in their games against Aodh Ruadh in Ballyshannon on Saturday. The seniors were defeated on a scoreline of 1-11 to 0-10, but the reserves recorded a great victory (1-8 to 3-6). The next opponents are Naomh Brid in home games scheduled for Saturday (13th).
The minors were narrowly defeated (1-5 to 1-4) away to Gweedore on Tuesday. They then suffered a home defeat on Friday to St. Eunans.
The u14 league kicked off on Monday with Naomh Colmcille collecting the points after Naomh Padraig Lifford’s non-appearance. They followed this up with a narrow defeat away to Muff on Wednesday in a high-scoring game (4-13 to 4-9) brought forward from this week. The next match will be on Monday (15th) at home against Malin.
The club hosted another very successful Easter camp on Tuesday and Wednesday. Well done to all the kids that took part and thanks to the coaches for running the camp. Thanks also to Sharon, Darina and Alison for looking after the refreshments.
Naomh Colmcille were well represented in the 5k organised by the Donegal County board in Ballybofey on Saturday, The club finished in 3rd place overall, including 2nd in the individual men’s event (Colin Watson), and 2nd and 3rd in the individual women’s race (Tanya Doran and Catriona Lynch respectively). Well done to everyone who took part on behalf of the club.

Well done to William Gillespie and his Donegal u21 team-mates on their great Ulster Championship win over Derry in the semi-final. Best of luck in this week’s final against Cavan.

Subscription of €2 per player (up to and including minors) per week for training. Please make sure you bring your full kit (shorts, track bottoms, boots, sports top/hoodie/coat, drink). Remember a mouth guard is needed for training sessions as well as matches.
New players most welcome for all teams. Come along to the session scheduled below, or contact the team coach/manager (contact details on the training schedule section of the club website) for details.
U8. Training continues Saturday 13th April at 11:00 am sharp for one hour. U10 girls can also come to this session.

U14. Training continues on Sunday (14th April) at 1 pm sharp for one hour
