Everyone seems to be making lists.
So we thought we’d make one too and link it to our beloved Donegal and ALL it has to offer.
We’re asking readers to make their own lists to about the TEN things they’d like to do in Donegal before the die (or even well before that day!).
It can be anything from hiking up Errigal to singing a duet with Daniel O’Donnell.
Let yourself go!
We’ll give a prize for the list that catches our eye.
Below is our list.
We could have added another one hundred things to do.
1 . Watch a golden eagle soar over Glenveagh National Park.
2. Sit on a high stool in Letterkenny’s Cottage Bar on a freezing January afternoon with snow outside drinking pints of the black stuff.
3. Walk the length of Tory Island (5kms) on a glorious summer’s day with basking sharks out in the ocean.
4. Watch Finn Harps beat Derry City at Finn Park to win the Premier Division title.
5. Ride a wave (even a small one!) off Rosnowlagh
6. Have a hand-made Magee’s tweed suit fitted at their store in Donegal Town.
7. Have fish and chips, tea, bread and butter in Baskin’s Café in Dunkineely.
8. Ride a bike down Lurgybrack Hill outside Letterkenny (don’t try this – it’s a personal thing!)
9. Go to Inishowen and finally see the Northern Lights in all their glory.
10. Watch Michael Murphy bring back the Sam Maguire again – this time as the manager of Donegal!
Send your lists to info@donegaldaily.com and include your name and email address so we can contact you if you win the prize.
