High winds across Donegal are causing commuter problems this morning.
The Harry Blaney Bridge is closed for a number of hours while the Arranmore Ferry has also cancelled sailings this morning.
Met Eireann say winds will increase and temperatures will plunge into tomorrow.
There is also a strong chance of sleet and snow in many places including lower ground.
Gardai have asked people to drive with extra care and attention.
