RTE investigation programme Prime Time is to reveal new details in the case of missing Donegal girl Mary Boyle.

The case of the then six year old who vanished in Cashelard outside Ballyshannon in 1977 has baffled the nation.

Now the RTE investigation team behind the award-winning show has revisited the case.

Reporter Barry Cummins, highly-regarded in the area of crime journalism, has visited Donegal to examine the case.

He interviews a number of key people in the case including little Mary’s mother Anne Boyle.

The programme, The Disappearance of Mary Boyle, will be broadcast on Prime Time on RTE television on Tuesday at 9.35pm.
