Last Saturday, the start of Open Week at Otway was marked with fierce competition in a 4 BBB, with the duo of Paul Murray and Patsy Gallagher coming out on top with an impressive 46 points.
They were followed in second place on BoT one point back by Chuck McTaggart and Mark Friel, with Gerry Gallagher and Philip Friel in third, also on 45 pts.
The day was finished off with a very enjoyable Summer Supper Night at the clubhouse where many members and guests enjoyed Tony and Seamus’s cooking, and music by Anthony and Martin.
Well done to everyone involved in what was a very successful event all round. Sunday was the start of the singles action, and saw Brendan Gallagher return to first place on the podium after a bit of a break from that spot.
Brendan just did enough with 38 pts to edge Mark Friel into second spot on BoT with 37 pts, with Damian Gallagher taking the gross and Dave Hughes coming in third. The nines went to Paddy Lynch and Gerry Gallagher.
Plenty more action in Otway’s Open week right through till Sunday 23rd July, so everyone is welcome to come along and test your game against the wee links of Otway!
