It was a busy summer for DYS youth clubs all over Donegal thanks to AIB and Century Cinemas. They jointly sponsored the ‘Let’s Go’ Summer camps for €1200, which took place throughout the county from Moville to Pettigo through the DYS Youth Outreach Project.
Youth club members were treated to a wide range of fun activities over the summer. Young people from age 8 to 18 took part in the camps which included a whole host of arts and crafts projects, sports, some indoor fun and games (the weather wasn’t always so summery!) and more.
Lorraine Thompson, DYS Regional Director stated that “Donegal Youth Service is so appreciative of the support we received from AIB and Century Cinemas for our ‘Lets Do It’ summer camps. We have had such a positive response from the youth clubs who took part and as you can see from the pictures the young people had a blast!”
The Donegal Youth Service Youth Outreach Project provides a support service to affiliated youth clubs and projects located across the county.
