A man charged with the alleged assault of a woman has been given bail until a file on the matter is prepared by the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Reece Daniels, with a previous address at Milford, appeared at Letterkenny District Court.
The court was told that the original complainant in the case had now withdrawn her complaint.
Daniels had been in custody following an alleged assault on the woman.
Gardai agreed to bail on a number of strict conditions.
The court was told that Daniels will now be residing at a different address in Milford.
He was also ordered by Judge Paul Kelly not to have any contact with the alleged injured party and to sign on three times a week at Letterkenny Garda station.
The case has been adjourned for directions from the DPP in the matter.
