A driver got a lucky escape after smashing into a fence in Letterkenny.
Gardaí tweeted the photo of the Nissan Almera with the caption “Offence in a fence”.
Letterkenny Gardaí say that the driver was lucky to be unharmed following the incident.
It was also discovered that the driver was on the road without insurance.
The driver is now due to appear in court.
Driving without insurance is a serious offence, leading to fines, penalty points, and the possibility of disqualification.
The driver could now face a fine of up to €5,000, five penalty points, or a prison term not exceeding six months.Tags:
