Gardai in Dublin are investigating the discovery of a man’s body early this morning in Dublin.
A 22-year-old male was found on a footpath at a Luas stop in Ranelagh after 4.30am. He is believed to have died at the scene after incurring a head injury.
The man’s body was taken to St James’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The scene has been sealed off as technical examinations take place and Gardai are viewing CCTV footage from the area. A post-mortem examination will be held to determine the cause of death, which will dictate the course of garda inquiries.
