Happy St Patrick’s day everyone!
Everything and everywhere is going green to honour the patron Saint of Ireland and today’s article is doing the same.
I am giving you 3 green-themed drinks, (non-alcoholic) that you can use and they all taste great. Have a great day and don’t over-do the festivities.
1. ST PATRICK’S DAY SMOOTHIE
- 1 Kiwi, peeled
- 1 Avocado, flesh only
- 1 tbsp Pumpkin Seeds
- 25g Spinach
- 200ml Almond Milk
- 2-3 Ice Cubes
Place all the ingredients in high powered blender and blend until smooth. Serve and enjoy.
2. GREENS ‘WAKE UP’ BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE
- 100ml Coconut Water
- 1 shot Espresso
- 2 handfuls of Spinach
- ½ Lemon
- ½ Avocado
- 1 tsp Flax Seeds
- 1 scoop Protein Powder
- 2-3 ice cubes
1. Place all the ingredients into high powered blender & blend until smooth. Serve immediately and enjoy.
3. CUCUMBER, ORANGE & MINT SMOOTHIE
- 1 small Apple, roughly chopped
- ½ Cucumber, roughly chopped
- 1 Orange, flesh only
- Few Mint Leaves
- 100ml Water
- 2-3 Ice Cubes
Place all the ingredients in a blender & blend until smooth. Serve immediately and enjoy.
There you have it.
3 green drinks where you can get your vitamins and minerals in, in a delicious smoothie.
This is especially good for people who struggle to eat fruit and veg.
