Mickey McCann hailed Donegal after a superb Nicky Rackard opener against Tyrone yesterday in Killyclogher.
With Declan Coulter on top form, Donegal won by 14 points, to make amends from a big loss against the same opponents last year.
“It was a great performance,” McCann said.
“You can prepare them all you want, but when they go out to the pitch it’s down to the players. They showed hard work and high intensity there.
“We were six up at half-time and we knew if we got three or four more it would be a big challenge for them.”
