There was no sunbathing or sand-castling building for the students of Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál when they visited the beach this week!
Instead, the admirable third class girls took part in a big beach clean-up on Rathmullan. Accompanied by their teachers Mrs. D. Harvey and Miss Ward, they collected lots of rubbish to ensure the beautiful beach is kept clean for all who want to enjoy the sunshine by the seaside.
The initiative was part of the students’ Action Day for Green Schools, and ten bags of rubbish were collected in total.
Well done to all!
