Local woman opens new solicitors practice in Letterkenny

A well-known Letterkenny woman has taken the brave step and opened her own solicitor’s practice.

Maureen Gallagher was born and raised in Letterkenny, the daughter of the late Rose & Phonsie Mc Namee Drumnahoe, Letterkenny and comes from a family of 10.

She was educated in the national and secondary schools locally and studied law at LYIT Letterkenny and furthered educated in Griffith College Dublin.

Having qualified as a solicitor from the Law Society of Ireland in 2015, Maureen worked locally in the town with other solicitors. Maureen said “I decided the time was right for me to open my own practice

And found a great location on the High Rd just beside the new courthouse” she said. At the moment she is practising in the areas of Residential Conveyancing, Wills & Probate, Criminal Law, Civil Litigation/ Personal injuries.

Maureen will host an open night at her new offices this Tuesday, August 14th between 6 and 8 pm.
