Finn Valley FM has secured a licence from the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland to get back on the airwaves later this month.
Fans of the community radio station will be able to tune into 95.8 fm from Friday 26th. October to hear from their local broadcasters again.
The station was off air for approximately two months. Now that the licencing is confirmed, the team are looking forward to informing and entertaining the area again.
Patrick Burns, Managing Director, said: “We are delighted on the successful application for a licence from the B.A.I. to broadcast in the Finn Valley area, it will be on the frequency of 95.8 FM.
“Test transmissions can be heard on the 26th. and 27th. October and broadcasting begins on Sunday 28th. October.”
Listeners can expect a wide and varied choice of music and programmes.
Mr Burns said: “The station will broadcast a wide variety of music to suit all genres. Also talk and interview programmes where groups around Donegal, Tyrone and Derry can come on air and promote their various pursuits.
