A derelict Victorian property and former hotel in Fahan is to go up for auction in two weeks’ time.

The old Roneragh Hotel, Off Railway Road, is included in the next online Osborne King auction.

With a maximum reserve of £50,000, the attractive property is being marketed as a refurbishment opportunity subject to planning permission.

The former hotel overlooks Lough Swilly and has views of Inch Island and the Fanad Peninsula.

According to iOK, the building is finished on the lower ground having a plastered render with red brick on the upper levels covered primarily with a pitched tiled roof.

It is understood that planning permission was previously passed for refurbishment and the conversion into two townhouses.

The auction takes place on 5th December 2018 at iokauction.com
