Breaking: South Donegal rocked by explosions from lorry fire

Large explosions were heard across South Donegal this evening after a lorry caught fire in Inver. 

Fire services are battling the blaze on the N56 road from Inver to Killybegs.

Local residents reported hearing several explosions from the vehicle after 7.30pm, followed by large plumes of smoke.

No injuries have been reported from the incident.

Gardaí have closed the road and diversions are in place.
