HOOPS MANAGER Neil Lennon has formally told Man City that Celtic are unable to take Lifford goalie Shay Given to Parkhead.
The Board at Celtic felt they couldn’t meet Shay’s huge wages – and City have refused to subsidise them.
However it’s understood Arsenal -beaten by a fluke goal by Manchester United at Old Trafford last night – are still interested in securing the Donegal man’s services.
Given has formally told City he wants out of Eastlands next month when the January transfer window opens.
