Waterford company Rigney Dolphin is establishing a new customer relations centre in Derry, which will generate 297 posts over the next three years.

The company said it was a strategic development which would help expand its customer base into the UK. Invest NI provided €1.35m in funding for the jobs investment.

The announcement has been welcomed by local political leaders in Inishowen.

One in every five call centre positions in Derry is staffed by Donegal people.
