DANIEL FORCED TO SPEND CHRISTMAS AWAY FROM DONEGAL

Daniel O’Donnell has revealed how he was forced to cancel Christmas at home in his beloved Donegal with his mum Julia.

The millionaire crooner always spends the festive season at home in Kincasslagh where he sings at midnight Mass.

But Daniel, 49, was forced to spend December 25th at his Dublin apartment because of the freezing weather conditions.

He also revealed how he had to run around buying his turkey and ham on Christmas evening to cook for wife Majella and his two stepchildren!

“Our Christmas did not work out as planned which again was down to the bad weather.

“We could not get to Donegal because of all the disruption due to the snow so myself, Majella, Siobhan and Michael had Christmas day in our apartment in Dublin.

“We were running around Marks and Spencer on Christmas Eve buying the dinner and bits and pieces. We had a lovely day just the four of us,” he revealed.

But things did finally work out for Daniel when he finally made it home on St.Stephen’s Day.

“On boxing day we travelled to Donegal and my sister Kathleen had Christmas dinner with my mother and all of us so we had the best of both worlds,” he revealed.

Daniel jetted out to his luxury villa in Tenerife a couple of days ago and rang in the New Year with friends there.
