GAA Presidential candidate Tom Daly will get support from fans around the country today by calling for the revival of the Railway Cup.
The Donegal man – one of the favourites to be next GAA President – says he would like to see the inter-provincial competitions in both hurling and football and hurling brought back into the GAA fixtures calendar.
Said the Aodh Rua clubman: “The GAA would be extremely foolish to give up the inter-provincial brand of competition.
“I would like to think that a sensible way can be found for continuing the competition.”
