DONEGAL’S CLASH with Tyrone tomorrow is OFF!
All this weekend’s opening round of games in the Barrett Sports Lighting Dr McKenna Cup have been postponed because of the bad weather.
Three games were scheduled for today with Fermanagh hosting Jordanstown, Cavan facing Queen’s and Down up against St Mary’s College.
Sunday’s postponed encounters are the Tyrone v Donegal contest, Derry’s clash with Monaghan and Armagh v Antrim.
The games have all been rescheduled for the weekend of 22/23 January.
The competition will now start with next weekend’s round of fixtures with Donegal facing UUJ, Cavan hosting Derry, Down tackling Armagh, Antrim taking on St Mary’s, Fermanagh up against Tyrone and Monaghan meeting Queen’s.
The semi-finals, originally scheduled for the weekend of 22/23 January, now look likely to be re-arranged for Wednesday 26 January, as the final is down for 29 January.
