THE hotel where Michaela Harte McAreavey was murdered is a popular destination for Donegal couples – with one of them reporting how they had a great time there just four months ago.

The Letterkenny groom, in a posting on tripadvisor, wrote: “Had the most wonderful honeymoon in Legends, everything was first class from the check in to check out. For a few extra pounds the junior suite is great, loads of room and a large balcony.”

And he made a special mention about the staff during his stay there in September.

He wrote: “The all inclusive pure discovery package was great with an amazing trip to coco island, trip to the spa, tennis lesson, catamaran trip, and romantic dinner which we paid extra to have on our balcony and the service by our waiter Vikram was top class and he made it very special for us..

“The bar service at night may have been a little on the slow side but being in the catering industry the bar men done nothing but make cocktails all night which does slow up the service.

“The food in all restaurants was excellent and was the little extras like the soap service in the evening and turn down service with little laverder pillows to help you sleep 🙂 All in all I would recommed legends to anyone but would also say ” All Inclusive is a must ” very expensive otherwise. * * * * *”
