AS IF the snow wasn’t bad enough, Donegal is this morning waking up to storms and floods after an overnight battering by gales.
Wind speeds reach 100km/h at some stages over coastal areas around Gaoth Dobhair, Bundoran, Falcarragh and Malin Head.
AA Roadwatch is warning motorists to take extra care, especially on coastal routes today.
They have issued a special warning to drivers of high-sided vehicles as the high winds and rain are expected to continue throughout the day.
The good news – temperatures if 10c later, though it won’t feel like it.
