HOSPITAL ROW RUMBLES ON AS McHUGH CLASHES WITH BLANEY

TD JOE McHUGH insists patients have been treated in ambulances at Letterkenny General Hospital due to lack of space and staff!

Deputy Niall Blaney says that is completely untrue. He says he can prove it!

Someone has got it wrong – because they can’t both be right!

In a sign of the bitter election campaign ahead, the only two Donegal NE candidates who are sitting TDs continued to tear strips off each other at the state of the health service locally.

More than 120 patients every day have been treated at the emergency unit at Letterkenny.

Deputy McHugh insisted today there is a crisis at Letterkenny General – but he refused to repeat his claim about the ambulance treatment of patients.
