Donegal have made it through to the Vocational Schools All Ireland Final after a hard-won game over Meath in Ballyconnell, Cavan this afternoon.

John Joe O’Shea’s side eventually came out 2-6 to 0-6 winners despite a somewhat underpar display.

Sean Yank Boyle and John O’Malley got the goals for the Donegal side which proved the difference in the end.

However the Donegal men will have to up their game if they are to become All Ireland champions next weekend.

Their opponents in the final will be a highly-fancied Cork side who hammered Galway in the other semi-final by 2-18 to just 0-2.
