SUNDAY WORLD LOVES THE ‘TONE’ OF DONEGAL’S BARS

A LETTERKENNY pub has been given top marks by the Sunday World ‘Pub Spy’ team.

The Wolfe Tone Bar at Lower Main Street got a five pint recommendation from the mystery reviewer calling it the cream of the crop.

And the good news for Donegal pubs is that none visited by the review team got a bad mark.

Others pubs including Paddy Jack’s, McGinley’s and The Village Inn all got good reviews during the visits.

But the five star treatment was reserved for The Wolfe Tone.

“Most definitely one of the finest pubs we have found in recent times,” gushed the reviewer.

And he also raved about how clean the premises was.

“This premises is sparkling. This is a fabulous pub with a great atmosphere ad furniture that we have only ever seen in a five star hotel.

“The toilets were top class as expected. This is a top class pub and well worth a visit,” the Pub Spy added.

See today’s Sunday World for more wonderful reviews of Donegal’s top watering holes.
