NAOMH MHUIRE GAA CLUB NOTES

Under 8 coaching will continue in the Sports hall in Dungloe on Saturday at 11am. Under 10’s will start at 12 noon.

Cumann Peil na mBan Naomh Mhuire invite you all to a fundraising tea party in Caisleain Oir Annagry on this Saturday 26th February. A good nights food and entertainment guaranteed.

The under-age presentations took place at the Banks on Sunday last. The following awards were given out: u-14 player of the year – Conor White. u16 player of the year – Luke McFadden, u18 player of the year – Aidi O Gara. Achievement awards were given to Ronan Duffy and Jack McDevitt for their commitment throughout the year. The u-8s, u-10s and u-12s also received their awards on the day.

Good luck to Sean and Dara and the County Vocational team who play Cork in the All-Ireland final in Dublin on Saturday.

Well done to the following coaches who completed their coaching awards last week: Elaine Boyle, Maighread Hanlon, Charlie Boyle, Pat McGee, Paul mc Bride, Micheal McBride, Aidan Hughes, Sean Boyle, Brendan Boyle, Tony Sharkey and Sinead Sweeney.

Registrations are now due. 15 euro per child or 30 euro for two or more children. Over 18 is 30 euro. Membership must be paid by everybody by March 17th. Registration is required to be eligible for tickets to county championship games and voting at meetings. Players are not entitled to play or train with club unless they have paid membership as they will not be covered by our insurance scheme

Coaching dates: Wednesday 2nd March – Games To Develop Football 12 – 18, Castlefinn. Wednesday 30th March – Games To Develop Football U.10 & U.12, O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny. These are organised by county board and all coaches are encourgaed to go along or contact Gary Boyle.

Lotto details for week 16th Feb; jackpot 800 euro. No winners. There was no match 3 winners. Numbers were 16-20-21-23.
