JIMMY STICKS THE KNIFE INTO ‘HARTE’ OF FIANNA FAIL ONCE MORE

Cllr Jimmy Harte has stuck the knife into Fianna Fail for one last time before the election.

The Labour Party candidate has slammed Micheal Martin’s party for “bankrupting the country and saddling every home with the debts of rogue bankers and developers”.

Now he said the people of Donegal North East have an opportunity to restore pride in their country by giving him their number one vote on Friday.

Cllr Harte said people should not endorse a party whose failed policies led to the collapse of the economy and the loss of our sovereignty.

“Fianna Fail has left the country bankrupt and the people of Donegal North East must lead the campaign for change,” he said.

“This week’s national opinion polls have shown that the Irish public have made their minds up on Fianna Fail and its 14 years in Government. With just 10% of the Irish electorate stating they would vote for Fianna Fail the public are saying enough is enough.

“The Fianna Fail party has left the country bankrupt. It has saddled every home with the debts of rogue bankers and developers and it has jeopardised the future sovereignty of this great country of ours. Micheal Martin was a senior Minister in the outgoing Fianna Fail government who was fully aware of the decisions being taken at cabinet table.

“If he was not aware then he is politically incompetent and should not have been in the Cabinet.Who does Micheal Martin believe he is kidding when he asks for honesty and integrity in Irish politics? Why does Fianna Fail continue to treat the Irish public with contempt by failing to accept full responsibility for the failed policies that have lead to the collapse of the economy?” he asked.

Cllr Harte said the people of Ireland will tomorrow vote in their hundreds of thousands for a new way – for honesty and integrity and an opportunity to rebuild Ireland.

“Opinion polls taken here in Donegal North East point out that it is the Labour party and Fianna Fail who are set to fight it out for the last seat in the constituency.

“Indeed the political experts believe it is too close to call.  The voters of Donegal North East have an opportunity to take a leading role in the campaign for change. On the eve of polling I am asking you to restore pride in the county by giving your Number 1 vote to Jimmy Harte.”
