DANIEL SCRAPS HIS 50TH BECAUSE IT’S TOO EXPENSIVE FOR FANS

DANIEL O’DONNELL is planning to scrap his big 50th birthday celebrations – because it costs too much!

The millionaire singer, who hits the milestone in December, says he knows the huge lengths his fans will go to from around the world to be with him on his big day.

But he says he fears many will get into debt just to take part in the celebrations and he doesn’t want that.

“The people who come to see me want to go to everything that’s special and I know many of them will make a tremendous effort if I have a 50th birthday celebration.

“We’re contemplating not doing it because I think it puts a big expense on people,” he said.

Many of the Kincasslagh singer’s fans queue for days just to get the first tickets for his shows.

And because Daniel celebrates his birthday in December, it’s likely that any birthday party will take place at home in Donegal where he likes to spend Christmas.

Daniel blew out the candles on his birthday cake last December at the Aura Leisure Centre as he played a sold-out concert.
