THE COUNTDOWN IS ON TO THE BALLYLIFFIN COASTAL CHALLENGE

Easter Saturday April 23rd 2pm is fast approaching and the focus event  in Inishowen on that day is certainly the Ballyliffin Coastal Challenge .

The initiative of the local Development committee in 2010 attracting hundreds to the picturesque village to take the challenge whether to walk/jog/run indeed there is a prize this time round for best fancy dress costume and the team aspect for local sports clubs has again been included .

It proved successful and is being repeated with renewed vigour this year again a goody bag and a desirable technical T-shirt . As was the case  also last year the nominated charity is Carndonagh Hospice unit cards available from Gertie Monagle 0861534091 .

Ballyliffin boasts 2 world class golf courses ,excellent hotels and a friendly welcome with the local energetic Inishowen ac hosting the registration/finish etc once again . Entry fee 20 euros with students 10 euro .

The message from local organising committee is pre enter by downloading that entry form from the website ,post or indeed hand into the local Post Office .

Registration is at the Trasna Hotel with soup/sandwiches etc in the Strand Hotel afterwards .Music in local hotels later that evening if you decide to hang around . It has the feel of yet another positive event and carries an AAI permit.
