DONEGAL has three new county councillors today – with all of them promising to represent their electoral areas.

Cllr Jack Murray, at just 26, is now the youngest councillor in the county after replacing Deputy Padraig MacLochlainn.

The Sinn Fein man – representing Inishowen – said he was proud to take the seat once held by both TD MacLochlainn and murdered Sinn Fein councillor Eddie Fullerton.

Cllr Paul Canning is the new Fianna Fail councillor after replacing new Deputy Charlie McConalogue. He will also represent Inishowen.

Independent John Campbell is the new councillor for the Donegal Electoral Area after replacing Thomas Pringle.
