Two first half goals set Mayo on their way to a 2-18 to 0-12 win over Donegal at McHale Park in Castlebar.
The Connacht side led 2-10 to 0-08 at the break and held Donegal to just four second half points.
Ronan Cullinane and Keith Higgins were Mayo’s goal scorers.
It was a disappointing result for Donegal in this Division 3B clash, though they were up against a Mayo side with a 100 per cent record.
Meanwhile two of this season’s Allianz Hurling League finals have been confirmed following this weekend’s round of matches.
In Division 3A Wicklow and Derry will contest the final, while in Division 4 South Down and Tyrone will face-off for the title. Only the winner of those finals will gain promotion.
