THE COUNTY’S U-14 ladies side had an easy win over Monaghan at the weekend – eventually winning by a massive 29-point margin.

In a very one-sided encounter (understatement of the year!) the Donegal girls won by 7-14 to 1-03.

Katie McGowan was the star of the day in this clash scoring 1-6 on the day.

Termon’s brilliant player Lauren McElwaine scored a brilliant hat-trick, while Sarah Jane O’Donnell hit five points. Lucy O’Flynn weighed in with a great 2-1.

The side play Down next after victories now over Monaghan, Armagh and Tyrone.

Manager Dermot Foy said of the weekend victory: “We have a very fit team which works very well together. It was a great all-round team performance.”
