A GLENFIN mum spoke of her horror today after her home was raided by creeper burglars who then made off with the family car.
Gardai are warning homeowners throughout the county to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity.
Earlier this week we revealed how one creeper burglary takes place in Donegal every three days.
Bernie Bonnar revealed the thieves raided her home as she slept with the family around 5am yesterday.
Burglars took cheques, cash, a laptop, a digital camera and the family car was stolen. A number of other houses in the area were also raided.
Bernie said today: “We didn’t hear a thing. We slept right through it.
“It’s really frightening that people will go through your house and belongings while you are sleeping.
“They went through other cars taking stuff in the area as well.”
If anyone sees Bernie’s stolen car – a Black Skoda Superb – registration 04 DL 7292, they are asked to contact Gardai immediately.
This is just the latest in a series of raids across Donegal.
