LETTERKENNY is in mourning today with the sad passing of one of Letterkenny’s great characters and a stalwart of St Eunan’s GAA club, Mickey O’Donnell.

Affectionately known simply as Mickey The Boy, he was totally dedicated to St. Eunan’s.

His funeral takes place tomorrow (Monday) morning at 10am in the Cathedral.

In a statement, St Eunan’s said Mr O’Donnell would be greatly missed by everyone at the club and by the wider community throughout Donegal.

The statement added: “We would like as many that are available to attend to wear their club colours to form a Guard of Honour at the Cathedral after Mass on Monday.”
