With up to 2,000 people expected to take part in this Sunday’s North West 10k, the Chairperson of the organising committiee Grace Boyle is asking all those wishing to take park to enter on-line.

You can do so now by clicking this link: www.northwest10k.com.

Said Grace: “It’s important that as people as possible pre-enter to facilitate the smooth running of the event which gets underway at 2 p.m. on Sunday.”

The 10k committee has also announced some of the details of their traffic management for this year’s event which takes place on Sunday in Letterkenny.

There will be traffic restrictions on the Pearse Road and Loop Road on the day of the race and walk. No parking will be allowed at the Community Centre. Parking will be available at McGinley Motors with access from the Justice Walsh Road only.

The two charities which will benefit from the race are the ‘Save our Sight group’ who are based at Letterkenny Hospital’s Ophthalmic Department and the Donegal Acute Mental Health Services.
